James Byrd age 63 of Florence, passed away Thursday August 17, 2023.
The visitation will be Friday, August 18, from 5-7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Florence.
A visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL on August 21,st from 12:30-1 p.m.
A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m.at Byrd cemetery in Mobile, AL.
He is preceded in death by Ina Jean Terry and James Morris Byrd.
Survivors include, wife, Anna Byrd, Daughters, Krista Byrd and Ashley Ward (David).
Sons, Byron Byrd (Kristin), Matt Stokley (Ashley), Josh Byrd (Jessica), Jared Byrd(Courtney) and Chris Vollrath (Jordan).
Siblings, Regina Beck, Tracy Hogan, Tracy Lynn Jordan and Cindy Kruszewski.
Grandchildren, Trentont Drake Reed, Juliana and Brantley Byrd, Presleigh and Ethan Stokley, Jackson Byrd, Heath and Harper Ward, Bryton Vollrath and Jake Blades.
James was an avid fisherman. He loved, loved, loved fishing and when he was done fishing, he would fish some more.
