James “Bunk” Peck – Obituary

James “Bunk” Peck, 81, of Killen died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Glenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 6-8 PM at Killen Church of Christ.  Funeral services will be Friday, April 8, 2016, at 11 AM at Killen Church of Christ with Bro. Stan Dean and Bro. Ashley Pettus officiating.  Mr. Peck will lie in state from 10-11 AM.  Burial will be at Peck Cemetery.  Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

Mr. Peck was retired from Ford Motor Company.  He was a life member of Killen Church of Christ.  He was an avid Brooks High School supporter.

Mr. Peck was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Peck; two daughters, Dana Cooper and Jana Hunt; parents, Albert and Hauttie Peck; sisters, Edna and Nellie; brother, Gene.

Mr. Peck is survived by his sons, Greg Peck (Deborah) and Phillip Peck; son-in-law, Owen Cooper; sister, Linda Pounders; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; special friends, June Pate and Jeanne Nelson.

Pallbearers will be Johnny McGee, Charlie Stutts, Jackie Phillips, Jackie Pounders, Butch Morris, and Brad Morris.  Honorary pallbearer will be Matt Wright.
