James “Bud” Price Brewer – Obituary

Funeral for James “Bud” Price Brewer, 79, of Moulton will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerry Marlow and Pastor Wayne Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Brewer, who died Sunday, May 17, 2015, at NHC Healthcare, was born March 9, 1936, in Lawrence County to Roy Brewer and Alice Peters Brewer. He retired as a machine operator for Automatic Screw. Bud was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Faye Sanderson Brewer; his parents; and one son, R.L. Brewer.
Survivors include three sons, Buddy Brewer (Joan), Johnny Brewer and Jerry Brewer, all of Moulton; two daughters, Connie Latham (Darrell) of Moulton and Carolyn Pickens (Chris) of Killen; one brother, Pelham Brewer of Tanner; one sister, Suemicha Lovich of Priceville; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Devin Harville, Dakota Glasco, Scott Cox, Dustin Latham, James Latham and Donnie Early.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
