, born September 6, 1933, welcomed into the arms of his Heavenly Father, Sunday, May 5, 2024 having honorably served in the Army. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He befriended many, enjoying their presence, the engaging conversation, and the laughter.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Neal; mother, Ada Pearl Neal; brothers Harold and John, and sisters Betty Jean and Mary Elizabeth.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Imogene Neal; daughters, Peggy Neal Kauffman (Rusty), Carol Neal Prestwood (Terry); son, Curtis Neal (Trish),
Grandchildren Amanda McCulley (Andrew), Tamara Roberts (Dustin), John Carroll (Marcie), Rachel Lamb (Matt), Christy Weeks (David), and Jimmy Hall (Amy); Great Grandchildren Isabella McCulley, Carly and Livi Roberts, Rosa and Nathan Carroll, Brody and Caroline Lamb, Wellesley and Courtney Hall, and Taylor and Katie Corum.
He was dearly loved by his family and by all those with whom he spent time with. He lived life to the fullest, enjoying the outdoors with fishing and hunting. Being with his family brought him the greatest joy no matter the occasion. He will be fondly remembered and missed in the years to come.
Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 1:00 pm with Mark Smith, and Bro. Mike Shaneyfelt officiating.
Interment will be in Green Valley Cemetery.
