Memorial service for James Brannon Templeton, age 35 of Taft, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fayetteville First Baptist Church with Rev. Van Johnson and Chad Hancock officiating. Mr. Templeton passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A native of Lincoln County, he was the son Don and Gene Templeton. He was employed at Franke, was a farmer and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife Katie Chambers Templeton, a son James Carson Templeton, daughter Caroline Templeton all of Fayetteville, sisters Sherry Templeton Bartlett, Pam Templeton Crabtree, brothers Charles “Chuck” (Connie) Templeton, four nieces and nephews and five step-nieces and nephews and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by one brother-in-law Steve Bartlett, father-in-law Jim Chambers, paternal grandparents Malcolm and Josephine Sheffield Templeton, maternal grandparents J.N. “Jim” and Louise Nix Jennings, many aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends and co-workers.
Visitation with the family will be Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
