Mr. James Benton Potter, age 74, of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Cornelison officiating. Interment will follow at Skyline Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Potter is survived by his wife, Patsy Potter; sons, Jonathan Potter, Chris Potter, and Travis Potter; grandchildren, Ethan Potter, Nicole Manning, Faith Manning, and Nicolas Potter; brothers, Glenn Potter, Vester Potter, and Larry Potter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Zanie and Edith Potter; brothers, Gene Potter, Alvin Potter, and Edmond “Milo” Potter; and a sister, Myrtle Potter.
