Mr. James Austin Lightsey, 82 of McVille Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at his residence.
Service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at McRae Chapel with interment in Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Jackie Gaskin will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 – 8.
Mr. Lightsley is survived by his: Son & Daughter-in-Law: Ken & Kathleen Lightsey of California and Charles & Jane Lightsey of Boaz, Daughter: Diane Strickland of Boaz, 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: M. L. Lightsey of Boaz, Lois Lightsey of Whitesboro and Billy Lightsey of Boaz, and Sisters: Faye Gaskin of Attalla and Madgeline Strickland of Smith Institute.
Pallbearers will be Wallace Walker, Rodney Hillbrant, Jimmy Millwee, Anthony Lightsey, Aron Jones and Davy Smith
