James Arthur “Jim” Sellers – Obituary

 Mr. James Arthur “Jim” Sellers, 68 of Florence passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Palmetto GeneraL Hospital in Miami, Florida after a sudden illness. He was a native of Madison, Indiana. James was a lover of all sports especially baseball, football, and basketball. He graduated from Madison High School and Indiana State. He later coached football and basketball. When time permitted, he loved relaxing in his boat on the river fishing. Jim was employed as a project manager for the Big Lots Corporation of which he valued.

   Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2012 from 1 – 3 at Greenview Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Henry Melton. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
   Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Burris.
   He is survived by his wife, Linda Sellers; two sons, Shawn Sellers (Becca), and Brad Osburn (Britney); step-daughter, LaDonna Jones(Ken),step-son, Robert Capley, father, James Sellers Sr., brother, Gene Sellers, 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
   Pallbearers will be Gene Sellers, Jim Barber, Ken Jones, Johnny Capley, Corey Campbell, Chase Capley, Coty Capley, and Donnie Capley.
   Honorary pallbearers will be Clarence Darby, Jimmy Richards, Harold Kelsoe, and Jimmy Spires.
   James loved his family and was a thoughtful husband and father to his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
