James Andrew “Jim” Goetz, age 57 of Medon, passed away on May 12, 2022 at his home.
Jim was born on June 5, 1964 in Owensboro, KY to Eddie and Beverly Bartley Goetz. He was retired as an Operations Manager from the Kellogg’s Co. He loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. He took great pride and joy in creating a park like setting on his property for everyone to enjoy. He loved fishing and making the most of his retirement. Jim was known by most for his joking and sarcastic personality. But he was best known for always being there when anyone needed anything.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Goetz.
He is survived by his wife, Audra King Goetz of Medon; his parents, Eddie & Suzie Goetz of Grant FL; his children Erin Taylor, her husband Josh and child Brody of Camden TN; Paul Burden, his wife Kelsey, and children Sadie & Silas of Jacksonville FL; Kelly Goetz of Georgia; Jacquelynn Epperson and husband Peyton of Medon, TN; his sisters, Kitty Pacheco and husband Hector of Florida; Stacy Gaume and husband Tom of Florida; Ashley Malita and husband Danny; and nephew, Brandon Goetz and his wife Colleen.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.
