James Alton Griffin, 84, died Sunday, August 24, 2014. Visitation will be 6 – 9 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home, Athens. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove Church of Christ, Rogersville with burial to follow in Higgins Cemetery. The body will lie-in-state from noon – 1 p.m. at the church on Wednesday.
