James Albert Thomas, 63, of Anderson, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11-1 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Bill Barlow and Jerry Marlow officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Cleatus and Lucille Thomas; brothers, Bill and Paul Thomas; and sisters, Sadie Nix and Rachael Evans. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Glenda Thomas; children, Wanda Gayle Thomas, Ricky Lee (Tisha) Thomas and Kimberly Ann Siniard; grandchildren, Brooke and Taylor Siniard and Ashley and Alyssa Thomas; great-grandchild, Braylin Madden; sisters, Geraldine (Woodrow) Nunley, Hazel (Frank) Word, Lounette (Roy) Crunk; and brother, Jackie (Shelia) Thomas.
