Jacquelyn E. “Jackie” Hill, age 78 of Huntland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was born on September 11, 1943, in Harvey, IL to the late Frank and Edith (Hallburg) Hall Sr. Jackie was an avid bowler and was on several different bowling leagues. In her spare time, you could find her watching Tennis matches, playing, and winning Yahtzee with her family and friends, and taking care of her dogs and cats through out the years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Hill; siblings, Frank Hall Jr., Betty Perry, Barbara Collette and Shirley Preston. Jackie is survived by her brother, Richard Hall of Crete, IL; sister-in-law, Vivian Hill,close friends, Flo, Fay, and Larry and Betty; and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by a special niece and caretaker Ruth (Randy) Thomas and her beloved cat Georgie. The family wishes to thank Avalon Hospice for all their support and a special praise for Courtney, Tanya, and Shirley. Not only did they care for Jackie, but they supported and cared for Ruth and Randy during this journey. Services for Jackie will be held at a later date.
