Jacqueline Ann Hafner (Durbin), 71 years old, of Madison, Alabama, passed away on September 16th, 2024. Jackie was born on August 14th, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee to Bob T. Durbin and Marjorie L. Davis(Montgomery).
Jackie was proud to be a School Bus Driver for Madison City Schools. She retired after receiving recognition for her twenty-five years of service in a ceremony held in the presence of everyone who worked for the Madison City School System. Jackie was known for her strong Christian beliefs and her integrity, perseverance and kindness. Her love of children and her desire for everyone to know and have a relationship with Jesus defined everything she did. Jackie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior when she was seven years old at First Southern Baptist Church in Joliet, Illinois.
Jackie is survived by her husband, William Hafner, her sisters Sharron Horton and Lavinia Lopez, her daughters Kristina Fletcher and Jennifer Cherry, and her grandchildren Micah Cherry and Thomas Cherry. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Bob Durbin, her mother Marjorie Davis and her brother Jimmy Durbin.
