Jacob Christopher Williams, age 8 years old, of Phil Campbell, passed away very unexpectantly on Saturday, March 04, 2023.
Jacob was a 2nd grader at Phil Campbell Elementary School. He loved going to school, and never met a stranger. His nickname was “Spidey” and loved watching Spiderman, Sponge Bob, Paw Patrol, and Alvin and the Chipmunks. He loved stickers, art, and coloring, even his latest adventure, coloring on his walls at home. He loved beach trips, holidays, and especially Christmas and his birthday. He was very determined little boy and worked hard at everything and was not a quitter. Even though he is gone too soon, he leaves many precious memories for his family, friends, and teachers at school.
He is survived by his parents, Brian Williams & Kimberly Boykin; siblings, Zachary Miles, Hailey Boykin, David Williams, Cheyenne Williams, Nicholas Sullivan; grandparents, Fay Williams, Rhonda Boykin; aunts & uncles, Ryan Boykin, Justin Boykin, Cathy Stennis, Michael Williams; many cousins; and a host of friends.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kary Williams and Stan Boykin.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Sammy Taylor speaking at the service.
