Jacob “Chance” Matheney, age 36 of Pleasant View, Tennessee died Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 o’clock pm, Monday, November 25th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Pastor Derrick Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 25th from 10:00AM until the service time at 2:00PM.
Chance was born on March 9, 1988 in Nashville, Tennessee to Eddie & Kara Wheeler Matheney. He was a delivery driver and played baseball for Sycamore High School. He also loved to hunt and fish.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward E. Matheney; maternal grandmother, Olivia Annette Wheeler; and aunt, Holly Sellars.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his uncles and aunts, Tad (Kara) Wheeler, Donnie (Carol) Jordan and Myron Sellars; cousins, Sloan Sellars, Shayla Sellars, Justin (Ruthann) Wheeler, Bailey (Kaity) Wheeler, and Shelby (Sabian) Ortega.
