Jacky Cornelius Pounders, 58, Sheffield, Alabama passed away on May 23, 2023. Visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home in Cherokee on Sunday, May 28 from 1:00 to 2:00. The funeral service will be at 2:00 with burial to follow in Mountain Springs Cemetery.
Jacky was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve Pounders and Ricky Pounders, and Billy Ray Fountain.
Jacky is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Guy L. Watson, Crystal Flanagan, and Dustin Cunningham; mother, Jodi Fountain; brothers, Larry Pounders, Gary Pounders, and Benny Pounders,; grandchildren, Darian Flanagan, Audri Flanagan, Sydney Watson, Briar Putman, Olivia Watson; great-granddaughter, Ka’layia Barnett; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Pounders, Randy Pounders, Eddie Strickland, Guy Watson, Nicholas Pounders, and Scotty Nestle.
