Funeral service for Jackie Sue Corum, age 54, of Decatur,
will be Thursday, April 18, 2013, 6:00 p.m.
at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hugh Bohlin officiating.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Graveside service and interment will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013,
in Oak Hill Cemetery, Attalla, AL.
Mrs. Corum, who died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at her residence, was born June 29, 1958,
in Columbus, GA, to John Horace Roberson and Nell Webb Roberson.
She was preceded in death by one son, Heath Strawbridge, her parents,
and two sisters, Mary Nell Roberson and Ruth Myer.
Mrs. Corum was a member of Cedar Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Johnnie Corum of Decatur;
one son, Chas Corum of Decatur;
two daughters, Heather Grant (John) of Memphis, TN,
and Holly Sanford (Brad) of Decatur;
one sister, Carol Painter of Rainbow City;
three grandsons, Hunter Grant, Gabriel Sanford, and Jaxon Sanford;
one granddaughter, Samantha Grant;
and several nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be John Grant, Troy Painter, Brad Sanford,
Rudd Weatherwax, James Slager, and Mark Houston.
