Jackie Ray Shearon of Middleton, TN, was born December 30, 1954, in Memphis, TN, and departed this life on August 25, 2023.
He was the son of Jewell and Madge Shearon of Middleton. Jackie married Marion Kay Shearon on March 30, 2001. He worked as a carpenter and had a long legacy of building homes throughout West TN. His interests included hunting, fishing, carving deer antlers and his dog, “Poukie”.
Jackie is survived by his son, C.J. Hightower (Jennie) of Dyersburg and daughters, Randi Winstead of Dyersburg, Krissie Grantham (Shawn) of Middleton and Mandy Robertson (Cole) of New Albany, MS; a sister, Deb Stewart of Pocahontas and a brother, Chris (Pat Kirk) Shearon of Hornsby. Jackie is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Evan, Steele, Coden, Laura Leigh, Ellie Mae, Reed, Landon, Chloe, Larson, Garret, Maggie and Lakelynn.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marion Shearon; a daughter, Lori Shearon-Hughes and a brother, Dwight Shearon. Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to Reaves Cemetery.
