Jackie LaDon "Don" Clement Mr. Jackie LaDon “Don” Clement, 77, died on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 29, 1947, in Oklahoma, to Jack Carpenter Clement and Wanda Burns Clement.

Don married the love of his life in Littleton, Colorado, on August 1, 1998. They knew they had found the perfect Justice of the Peace upon entering his chambers. His walls were covered with Harley Davidson memorabilia! Throughout their marriage, they stood strong together no matter what life threw at them. Don and his brother, Ronnie, enjoyed riding their Harley’s. They made many memories in their travels.

He was an avid Golden Gloves welter-weight boxer in his youth and his coaches were beloved uncles who made a huge impact on who he became as a man.

He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1976 aboard submarines. Some of his most cherished memories were from his time spent on the USS Francis Scott Key SSBN-657. He received multiple medals and honors as an Interior Communications Technician First Class.

Don followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming a 3rd Degree Master Mason and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was very active in his S.C. Lodge for many years.

He was the only member of his immediate family to receive a college degree. He worked hard and completed his Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology in 1992, at the age of 45. He was a wonderful mentor to his fellow classmates.

Don was an honest, loving man who never let the difficult parts of life “win”. He always said, “There is no doom or gloom here, it’s just another thing!” His health issues were many but he fought them all with grace.

He was blessed with friends who were family and so many people who loved him. Rob Walker and his wife, Janet, were two of his most beloved friends, and they made many special memories. Don and Rob enjoyed fishing as often as they could and Oh, the stories they told were priceless.

Don was the owner of Jack Clement Trucking, LLC and was a truck driver for several years with the company as well.

Don will forever be remembered as a strong, loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. His life was well-lived and he will be missed by so many.

As Don requested, there will be a small, private, Celebration of his Life, at a later date.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife: Belinda L. Clement, brother: Ronnie Clement and wife, Janie, a sister: Linda Carson, and brother: Tom Clement and his wife, Lisa, along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society.

As Don said many times throughout his life, “Everything is gonna be OK!”

His struggles are over and he is where he wants to be.
