Jackie Kemuel McLemore, 79, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mr. McLemore was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a member of VFW and the American Legion and a retired civil servant. He was also a member of the AACA and Mustang Club of America. In addition, Mr. McLemore was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. McLemore, Sr. and Pauline Baites McLemore and sister, Polly Anne McLemore.
Mr. McLemore is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Certain McLemore; two children, Kemuel (Kem) McLemore and Toy McLemore Cline, son-in-law, Barry S. Cline; and brother, John D. McLemore, Jr. ; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 3:30 chapel service with Rev. Bryan Sisson officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity
