Jackie (Jack) Tiller, 77, of Huntsville, AL, was born on February 08, 1948. He passed from this world on July 21, 2024.
Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Jack Tiller and Josephine Robertson Tiller; two sisters, Dorothy Rainey and Murlene Nichols.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara East Tiller; one son, David Tiller; granddaughter, Alice Tiller; one great-grandson, Benjie; three step-children, Jackie East (Carol), Michael East (Cathy) and Judy East Sexton (Tommy Sherrill); sister, Sheila Evans (Thomas) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jackie was a Master Barber in the Huntsville area for over 40 years. He was well known for his cuts and styles for both men and women. He was also known for his guitar playing from the early 60’s to the mid 70’s. He played in a band called “The Rocks”. He also played for various events in the Huntsville area throughout the years. Jackie was a Christian and loved his Lord and family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A service will immediately follow at 3:00 P.M. with Skip Atkins and Larry Cabra officiating. He will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery.
