Jackie Elkins, 74, of Huntsville AL, passed into Heaven November 2, 2021. He was born November 8, 1946, in Woodville, AL to the late Ernest Delbert Elkins and Edna Louise Cambron. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Ray, and sister, Debbie. He is survived by his wife, Cathy S. Elkins; sons; Justin Elkins (Ann) and Kevin Elkins (Chandra); 5 grandchildren, Daniel, Dylan, Misty, Jackson, and Colton Elkins; 3 brothers, Jerry (Gayle), Tommy, and Steve Elkins; stepdaughter, Carla Durham (Mark); stepson, Eric Sanford (Amanda); and 4 bonus grandchildren, Alex, Ellie, Tyler, and Reagan. Jackie retired in 2000 from Civil Service at Redstone Arsenal. He retired to “Paradise Farm” in Somerville, AL where he enjoyed hunting deer, fishing in his pond, gardening, and trips around the farm in his golf cart and Kawasaki Mule. His greatest pleasure was gathering with family and friends. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Eric Sanford and Reverend Guy Morton officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Woodville, AL. Pall bearers will be Justin Elkins, Kevin Elkins, Tommy Elkins, Mark Durham, Daniel Elkins, Dylan Elkins, and Tyler Durham
