Bro. Jackie Douglas, 86 of Randolph passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023, in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 14, 1937, to Polie Jackson Douglas and Errlene Anderson Douglas in Randolph, MS.
Bro. Jackie was called to preach while a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Calhoun County, Ms. He pastored in Pontotoc, Yalobusha, Calhoun, Simpson, and Yazoo Counties. When he did not have a pastoral home, he still held several different leadership positions within the church.
After retiring in 2003 Bro. Jackie and his family moved back to Randolph where he served as Interim at Rocky Branch Baptist, and as Pastor at Banner Baptist and Pilgrim Rest Baptist Churches. After his health required him to permanently retire from preaching, he served as the Sunday School teacher in his home church, Carey Springs Baptist Church.
Bro. Jackie is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Nell Clements Douglas of Bruce, Ms. One son, Timothy Shad Douglas of Randolph, Ms. Two Grandchildren, Bryan Douglas of Jackson, Ms. and Brianna Douglas of Hattiesburg, Ms. Two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 5-8PM and Wednesday, January 3, 2024 10AM until service time of 11AM at Carey Springs Baptist Church. Bro. David Poyner and Bro. Jeff Balckwelder will serve as officiants of the service.
Following the funeral service, Bro. Jackie will be laid to rest in County Line Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William and Gary Holcomb, Ricky Miller, Mike Clements, Larry Swanson, and Max Nichols.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryan Douglas, Maulton Houpt, Bro. Junior Ritchie, and Donald Brown.
