Jackie Cook, born Jackie Marie Eberhardt on November 21, 1951, in Sterling, IL, peacefully passed away on June 18, 2024, in Huntsville, Alabama. Jackie’s life was characterized by her unwavering devotion to her family and faith. She attended Rock Falls High School, graduating in 1969, and began her career at RB&W in Rock Falls, IL, where she met her beloved husband, Richard W. Cook. Their journey together took them to Jacksonville, FL, in 2003 and later to Meridianville, AL, in 2020, where they cherished being closer to family.

She leaves behind her husband, Richard, and four children: Matthew (Jessica) Eberhardt of St. Petersburg, FL; John (Claudia) Delgado of Meridianville, AL; Brent Cook of Clinton, IA; and Korrin (Tom) Callahan of Clark, NJ. Jackie was also blessed with nine wonderful grandchildren whom she cherished dearly: Danielle, Andi-Marie, Gavin, and Natalie Eberhardt; Andrew and Cameron Delgado; Brailen, Camden, and Reagen Cook. She is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Vincent and Marjorie Eberhardt, her sister Janie Fiebig, and survived by her siblings Jon (Lidi) Eberhardt of Marco Island, FL, and Joleen (Brad) Pyse of Rock Falls, IL.

In honoring Jackie’s profound faith and love, her family bids her a heartfelt farewell, finding solace in the belief that she now rests in eternal peace and joy. They draw strength from the knowledge that her legacy will continue to guide and inspire future generations. A Celebration of Life service to honor Jackie’s remarkable journey will be announced at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together and celebrate her memory
