Jackie Binion, age 60, passed away on December 27, 2024 at his home in Hartsville surrounded by family. The Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Leeville Cemetery will follow the service. Wilson County 4H Arrow Addicts Archery Team will serve as Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.

Jackie Glen Binion was born in Lebanon TN to Janice Marie Marlin Binion and Linder Binion. He worked as a locksmith for Cloverbottom Developmental Center until his retirement. Jackie had many lifelong interests and hobbies. Archery hunting for deer and turkey, fishing, wood working, painting, leather crafts and collecting arrowheads, antiques, and vintage phones kept him busy. He volunteered for almost 40 years as a Hunter Education Instructor with the TWRA. He taught archery for 16 years at the Wilson County 4H with his brother Larry. Jackie loved the Smokey Mountains.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Melissa McCarter Binion; brother: Larry (Jo Ellen) Binion; brother-in-law: Dewayne King; sister-in-law: Gloria Stewart; nieces and nephews: Staci (Tyler) Smith, Brittany King, DJ King, Eric Stewart, Rachael Stewart, and Kayla Stewart; many beloved great nieces and nephews; and his special pet dog: Grady. He is preceded in death by his parents Janice and Linder Binion, niece Candice O’Niel, and sister-in-law Linda King.
