Jack Wesley Hewlette, 90, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at his home in Olive Branch, MS. Jack grew up in Toccopola, MS on a farm. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He moved to Memphis, TN where he worked for the phone company for 35 years. After retiring he was a consultant in the communication field and enjoyed playing golf, touring the countryside, and spending time with friends and family.
Jack is survived by his sons, Jack Wesley Hewlette, Jr. and David Lynn Hewlette; and his brother, Billy Wayne Hewlette.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Henry and Clara Anderson Hewlette; his brother, Jimmy Lane Hewlette, and his sister, Mozelle Vetsch.
Service will be Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home, 270 Coffee St, Pontotoc, MS 38863 with Bro. Tommy Inmon officiating. Visitation will begin at 12PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Guinn Cemetery, 3796 Hwy 334, Pontotoc, MS 38863. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
