Jack Wesley Duncan – Obituary

JackJack Wesley Duncan was born August 14, 1933 in Savannah, TN, the son of the late George and Lucille Young Duncan.

Jack Duncan was united in marriage to Peggy Surratt on April 21, 1955. He served in the Air Force and was a member of the Mount Sharon Presbyterian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He worked as a shipping manager for Jetricks of Selmer for 15 years, was a carpenter, an avid gardner and was a big coon hunter. Jack was like a second father to his nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful and devoted husband.

Mr. Duncan departed this life on November 22, 2013 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 3 Months, 10 Days.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Jo Duncan; a sister-in-law, Barbara Maness and husband Joe Dan of Selmer, TN; two brother-in-laws, Jack Surratt and wife Bonnie of Adamsville, TN, Terry Lohman of Adamsville, TN; cousins, Tam and Raymond Earl Young both of Adamsville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1973, Jackie Jo Duncan; and a sister-in-law, Johnnie Sue Lohman.
