Mr. Jack Stater Durant, Jr. age 80 of Athens, AL passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side, on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Mr. Durant was born on August 22, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Jack Stater Durant, Sr., and Beatrice Morgan Durant.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shirley Durant.
Mr. Durant is survived by his wife, Phebe Durant; son, Justin Durant of Athens, AL; daughter, Deirdre Adkins (John) of Pittsburg, PA; sister, Patricia Durant of Chicago, IL and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Durant worked in sales for most of his life in the insurance and mobile home industry. He always loved it if he could make someone smile every day.
A memorial service for Mr. Durant will be held at a later date.
