Jack Sizemore, born on December 21, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Kansas, United States, passed away on June 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of Clayton Sizemore and Opal Seeley.

Jack was a devoted husband to his wife, Rebecca Broderick Sizemore, whom he married in 1972. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Alanna Simonton (Kenneth), Geoffrey Sizemore (Nicole), and Timothy Sizemore. He was also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren, William Clements and Griffin Sizemore.

He attended Wichita East High School, where he graduated in 1966, before continuing his studies at Wichita State University, where he graduated in 1972 with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Jack went on to work at several prominent defense industry contractors and served in the Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant.

Jack had many hobbies that he was passionate about, including Go-kart racing, attending church, studying theology, military history, and flying as a pilot. Pastimes he cherished with his wife included bowling and singing in the church choir. He was known for his adventurous spirit and love of learning.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his remarkable service to his country. Jack’s legacy will live on through the memories of all who knew and loved him.

The Lord welcomed Jack into Heaven after he suffered a cardiac arrest at his home with his wife by his side, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who were lucky enough to have known him.

A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The service will follow at 10 a.m. at the church with Father Jose Ambooken officiating.
