Jack Rogers Jr. – Obituary

Jack Rogers Jr., age 93, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015. Visitation will be today from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Jeff Abrams will be officiating. Jack was a veteran of United States Army serving during World War II during battles and campaigns of Normandy, Northern France Ardennes, Central Europe, Rhineland, and Air Offensive Europe, a retired mechanic, and owner/operator of Western Auto of Tuscumbia.

He was preceded in death by parents, Jack and Dolly Rogers Sr., wife, Kathleen Rogers, and two sisters.

Survivors are wife of 25 wonderful years, Ellen Rogers; sons, Jack Rogers III (Rojean) and Thomas Rogers (Teresa); daughter, Lisa Fuller (Ricky); six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephew and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Ashley Rogers, Michael Rogers, Neal Rogers, Brody Fuller, and Joe Willis.

Special thanks to Dr. Brad McAnalley and his full staff, Amedisys Home Health, and Hospice of North Alabama for all the care given to our dear loved one.

Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
