Jack Ray Thrasher was born on June 5, 1963, in Savannah, Tennessee to J. C. and Jinney Marie Wilkerson Thrasher.
On October 21, 1986, she was united in marriage to Linda Joyce Harville, who preceded him in death on February 3, 2013.
Mr. Thrasher was employed as an independent truck driver. His very first job, right out of high school, was a truck driver for Wolfe Sales in Savannah, Tennessee. He lived his entire life in Hardin County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Savannah, Tennessee.
Mr. Thrasher departed this life on October 7, 2013, at the age of 50 years, 4 months and 3 days.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four stepchildren, Chris Melson of Savannah, Tennessee, Mendy Harris of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Jennifer Word and Belinda Melson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; and six step-grandchildren.
