jackJack London, 77, died Sunday, February 15, 2015, at the Coen Greenhouse. He was born December 31, 1937, in Tupelo to Gus and Ethel London. He graduated from Tupelo High School in 1955, then attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He was employed in the furniture supply business for over 30 years and was well respected in the industry. He worked for Phillip Mills and Culp Inc., and he also owned and operated Quality Furniture Supply for many years. He served in the Mississippi National Guard where he earned the rank of corporal. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Tupelo. He enjoyed playing golf, cooking, gardening and watching ESPN. He was an avid Mississippi State sports fan and was a huge supporter of the Jack Cristil Golf Tournament. Jack never met a stranger and loved his family dearly.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Lee Memorial Park with Bro. Dave Jensen officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his children, Joe London, Lynne Elliott (Jeff) and Jay London (Terri Lynn), all of Tupelo; the mother of his children, Beverly London of Tupelo; one sister Sue Ann London (Randy Walker) of Pass Christian; two brothers, Harry London (Sara) and Larry London (Theresa), all of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Kali, Joshua, Jonah, Terin and Ella Cate; one great-grandchild, Brali; and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Emile Petro, Richard Porter, Kermit Davis, Doug Robinson and Carl Talbott.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Methodist Senior Services at Traceway, Coen Greenhouse.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
