Jack Leon Wood, 83, of Town Creek, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be Friday, August 25th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Scott Livingston officiating. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Finis and Viola Wood; son, David Worsham; sisters, Virginia (Gean) Ardis, Elizabeth (Lib) Ezekiel, Shirley Wright, Beatrice (Bea) Mills, Patsy (Tiney) Phillips and Barbara (Cooky) Dixon.
He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Hamm and Katherine Woods; and several grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
