Jack Dunlap, 84, October 3, 2023, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born on May 26, 1939, in Tiptonville, TN to Mollie Pearl Lawrence Dunlap and Ezra Franklin Dunlap. Jack served his country with the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was Manager of Alright Parking Lots in Memphis, TN, Louisville, KY, Wichita, KS, and Boston, MA. He also worked at Kellwood Company and Caviness in Calhoun City, MS. He moved to Big Creek, MS in 1981 and resided there until his death. He loved his life on his farm and wouldn’t have changed it for anything. He loved gardening, feeding his fish at the pond, and taking care of his animals. But most of all, he loved his family.
Survivors include his children, Michael Dunlap (Jennifer) of Lee, NH and Cindy Butcher (Lloyd) of Haverhill, MA; sister, Linda Simpson (Calvin) of Newbern, TN; brother, Mickey Dunlap (Pat) of Martin, TN; a sister-in-law, Irma Ward (Don) of Big Creek, MS; grandchildren, Michael Dunlap, Jr., Cameron Dunlap, Lloyd Butcher III, and Gary Butcher; and great grandchildren, Tori Butcher, Lloyd Butcher IV, and MiKailyn Butcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian Dod Dunlap; sister, Colleen Dunlap; and his brothers, Norris Gerald, Paul L., Billy R., Jerry, and Terry Dunlap.
