Jack Batchelor, 81, retired dentist, community leader, and beloved husband, father, and grandfather peacefully passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at his home in Huntsville.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Jenny Batchelor, his children Jack Batchelor Jr. (Teresa), Karl Batchelor (Sarah), and Jeanette Baumgartner (Drew), grandchildren Jack Batchelor III, Emma Batchelor, Josh Batchelor, Jared Batchelor, Max Baumgartner, and Jenny Baumgartner, great grandchildren Peyton Batchelor, Jack Batchelor IV, and Audrey Batchelor. Jack was predeceased by his father Irvin Batchelor, mother Myrtie Batchelor, and brothers and sister, Horace Batchelor, Tommy Batchelor, and Jeanette Martin.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Friday, November 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Valley Hill Country Club in Huntsville, Alabama. We request you bring your fondest memories of Jack and help us celebrate the incredible man he was.
