Jack Anthony “Tony” Reaves, 70 of Arab passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center North. Tony was born November 14, 1953, in Albertville, the son of Jack L. Reaves and Willene Frances Camp Reaves. He was a graduate of Arab High School, Class of 1972. He served as a police officer for the City of Arab, before joining the Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit and eventually retired after working for the Marshall County Court House as a License Inspector. He was a member of the Arab First Baptist Church and an avid Alabama fan.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda Reaves; son: Chad (Jennifer) Reaves; grandchildren: Kellan Reaves, Calder Reaves and Isla Reaves; brother: Harold (Lisa) Reaves; sister: Brenda (Jimmy) Richey; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service was 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Randy Evers officiating. The burial was in Memory Hill Cemetery, Albertville, with Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation was 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
