J.M. Moody, 78, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at his residence. He was retired from Monsanto.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon-2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with Jimmy and Warren Glass officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Glass, Daniel Moody, Randy McConnell, Tim Glass, Curtis Glass and Johnny McConnell.
Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya Lee Moody Dabbs; parents, John and Lennice Moody; sisters, Naomi James and Lurene McConnell; and father and mother-in-law, Warren and Blondena Mewbourn Glass. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice Moody; daughter, Jennifer Kay Moody; brother, Joel (Brenda) Moody; brothers-in-law, Charles (Sandra) Glass, Warren (Joan) Glass and Jimmy (Janice) Glass; several nieces and nephews; and special friends.
J.M. was a quiet, gentle, kind man.
