J. Hugh Ballard, age 80, passed away September 11, 2023, at his residence.
He was born in Hamilton, Alabama on October 05, 1942, to Freeman Ballard and Flossie (Carter) Ballard.
He was proceeded in death by his son, Brent Ballard; parents, Freeman and Flossie Ballard; brother, Paul Ballard; sister, Faye Ballard.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Ballard; daughter, Amy Williford (husband, Rodney), grandchildren, Kaiden and Kynslee Williford; sister, Becky Holland (husband, Roger); aunts, uncles, brother and sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation services will be from 12- 2 p.m. Friday September 15, 2023, at Marion County Funeral Home. The funeral services follow at 2 pm in the chapel with Bro. David Smith officiating. The interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
