Funeral Service for J. Freeman Blankenship, 92 of Hartselle will be Wednesday December 10, 2018 at 11:00AM at Peck Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Miller officiating with burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00-11:00AM at the funeral home. Mr. Blankenship was born October 12,1925 in Lawrence County to Jody Blankenship and Lucy Boyer Blankenship. He passed away Saturday January 6, 2018 at Summerford Nursing Home.
Mr. Blankenship was preceded in death his Wife’s, Freida Atkins Blankenship and Bessie Brace Blankenship. Served in the United States Army during World War 2. A Non-active Mason with the Decatur Lodge and a Shriner. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
