Funeral service for J.E. Peck Jr., age 91 of Hartselle will be Monday, July 6, 2015 at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Shaddix officiating with burial in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Peck, who died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born November 27, 1923 in Morgan County to James. E. Peck Sr. and Susie Elizabeth Jones Peck. He was retired from the Goodyear Mill in Decatur and was a World War II Veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartselle and was a loving husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Pauline Preston Peck and a son; David Anthony Peck.
He is survived by his wife; Lorene Fowler Peck of Hartselle, a son; Mark Preston Peck (Melissa) of Falkville and a brother; Bill Peck of Somerville. 2 grandchildren; Brian Peck and Cayla Peck Bowdrey (Bo) and a step-son; Terry Pearson (Kathy) of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
