J. D. Moody, age 84, of Huntsville passed away on Tuesday February 26, 2013.
Mr. Moody was born in Cullman County, AL to Henry and Estelle Moody. He was retired from Wolverine Tube in Decatur. Mr. Moody was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching his grandchildren play ball.
Mr. Moody is survived by his son, Ron Moody and wife Kim; his daughter, Connie Harmon and husband George; his brothers, Johnny Moody and David Moody; his sister, Ann Hatfield; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 28, 2013 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with Rev. Mike Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on that day from 1pm until 2:30 pm at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Moody, Eli Freeman, Jerry Moody, Doug Moody, Henry Speegle, Mark Moody, Roger Freeman, Billy Higginbotham, Darrell Moody, Jimmy Moody, Toby Houser, and Red Speegle.
