J.D. Helton – Obituary

J.D. Helton, 72 of Huntsville passed away Wednesday at a local hospital. J.D. was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County and a retired automotive machinist. Survivors include his life companion: Virgie McKenzie; two sons: William David Helton and Tony Anthony Helton; one daughter: Rebecca Leigh Helton; a step-son: Ricky McKenzie; one step-daughter: Tammi McKenzie; three brothers: Clifford Helton, Pete Helton and Ricky Helton; one sister: Dorothy Johnson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with a Chapel service Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Bellview Cemetery.
