Mr. J.C. Marlar of the West Point Community in Somerville, Alabama; passed away peacefully in the earlier hours of Thursday – February 3, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
Mr. Marlar was born on April 18, 1941 in Colbert County, Alabama to the late Charley Marlar and Zalma Crowden Marlar. He was of the Pines Baptist Church.
Mr. Marlar leaves behind to reminisce his life; daughters, Theresa Gullion (Ray) and Tara Marlar; brothers, Glenn Marlar, Billy Joe Marlar, Earl Marlar and Larry Marlar; sister, Nana Gail Collins; grandson, Adam Gullion.
In addition to his parents; Charley Marlar and Zalma Crowden Marlar, Mr. Marlar is at last reunited with his sister, Barbara Grippin.
A visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday – February 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Interment is to follow visitation immediately at Russell Cemetery of Somerville, Alabama.
