vene Wright, 75, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, August 30, 2014, at her residence. She was a member of Mt. Glory Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and bird watching. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Sunday, August 31 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Monday, September 1, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Joe Hardwick and Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Rutledge Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jason Ortner, Adam Wright, Zach Coln, Justin Coln, Colton Haynie, and Lamar Bolton. Honorary bearers will be Canyon Wright, Taylor Coln, Jacob Kiddy, and Tyler Lovelace. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Danny Wright (Denise) of Iuka; 3 daughters – Ruth Ortner (Mike) of Iuka; Carolyn Coln (Mike) of Corinth; and Marcia Haynie (Randy) of Corinth; 3 brothers – Connie McDonald, Bailey Williams, and Melvin Williams, all of Booneville; 1 sister- Nelda Grace Carpenter of Booneville; 8 grandchildren – Adam Wright (Samantha), Jill Kiddy, Jennifer Lovelace, Jason Ortner, Becky Haynie, Colton Haynie, Zack Coln, and Justin Coln; and 7 great grandchildren – Tyler Lovelace, Jacob Kiddy, Everleigh Ortner, Canyon Wright, Cadence Wright, Taylor Coln, and Emily Coln. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Wright; her parents, Frank McDonald and Jean McAnally Williams; and her son, Jerome Wright.
