Isom Wade West Isom Wade West went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2020. He was born in Athens, Alabama on September 28, 1945 and was 75 years old.

He was devoted to the Lord, loved his family and friends and was an evangelist and member of the United Pentecostal Church for 30 years. As he was passing away, he testified to the nurse at the hospital. He was an insurance agent, loved talking to people and loved life.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 23rd from 11:00am until 1:00pm followed by the service at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Jackie Wilkerson and Jim Ennis officiating.
Burial will take place in Gatlin Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Eugene and Irene Hicks Jaggers, sister, Mary Kellum and a brother, Allison West.

He is survived by his
Wife of 56 years, Violet Faye Newman West of Goodspring
Daughter, Cindy (Dale) Hanks of Prospect
Daughter, Sherry West of Ardmore
Daughter, Kelley (Edward) Pardon of Prospect
Grandchildren, Nathan, Michelle and Michael Hanks, Mary (Michael) Synder, Jessica (Chris) Bickerstaff, Grace Pardon, Hanna Pardon, and Haley Schrimsher
Great-grandchildren, Crispin Tovar, Lakyn Mealer, Ryker Bickerstaff, Landon Bickerstaff and Ruger Ennis.
Sisters, Joyce (Don) Novack of Naples, FL. Rachel Ehrhard of Fort Meyers Beach, FL. Martha Ostrokwski of North Woods, Wisconsin, Peggy Osorio of San Joe, Ca.
Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
