Isaac F. Kennedy – Obituary

Isaac F. Kennedy, age 95, went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on December 5, 2017. He was born September 23, 1922 to James (Jim) White Kennedy and Louise (Lula) Josephine Fredericka Siegler Kennedy in Direct, Texas. He was laid to rest December 7, 2017 at Lee Memorial Park in Verona, Mississippi. Lee Memorial Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Edith Kennedy; daughters, Saundra Nobles (Jim) and Sherry Reed (Brooks); Step-daughter Joni Jackson; grandchildren, Larry, Mark, Tonia, Jamie, Monty, Porter, Baker, Sarah, and Christian; as well as numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, J. W. (Dub), Lee and sister, Joyce.

Sanctuary Hospice House and its staff was a comfort and blessing for Isaac and his family during his final days. Special thanks to Chaplain Dickie Rhea, LPN Natasha Berry and CAN Teresa Cooperwood.
