Irvin Doyle Roden, age 54, of Muscle Shoals, died suddenly February 10, 2015. Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, February 13, at noon in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Mae Jean Kimbrough of Nashville officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield. Doyle worked all of his life as a floor covering installer. He loved his job. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Roden and his nephew, Chad Letson. Survivors include his mother, Eva Roden; children, Chris (Elizabeth) Roden, Eric Roden, and Amber Goins; grandchildren, Dakota (the love of his life), Lauren, and Hannah; sisters, Mary Horton and Renee Letson; his companion/girlfriend, Lesa Glover and her four children and eight grandchildren (who called him G-Paw); his life-long companion Rebecca Tood with her three grandchildren (who called him Papa), Katelyn was very special to him; many loving nieces and nephews, including special niece Melissa Letson. Pallbearers will be family and friend, Bubba, Anthony, Quinton, Shelby, Buck-I, Cookie, and Tim. Special thanks to his family and friends.
