Funeral service for Irene Lockett-Williams of Lawrenceville, Georgia, formerly from Athens, Alabama, will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Hopewell M.B. Church (11479 Dogwood Flats Rd, Tanner, AL 35671) with Pastor Clint Scales of Elkmont CPCA Church of Elkmont, Alabama officiating. Interment and committal will be at Thatch-Mann cemetery. Mrs. Williams will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Public viewing will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home
