Irene Green Robinson Irene Green Robinson passed away on December 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Estelle Roszell and Gaythren George Green; and siblings, Virginia Green Craig, Victoria Green Phillips, Curtis Lee Green, Olan Wayne Green and Jerry Franklin Green.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Sergeant Major David Eugene Robinson of the U.S. Army; daughter, Kathy LeCroy (Randy) Schindler; grandchildren, Alexander Jonathon Dean (Katie) and Russell Owen Dean (Monse’); and great-grandchildren, Remington Jade Dean and Aria Kathryn Dean.
She was born and raised in Choccolocco, Alabama. Irene married Dave in 1976, and recently celebrated 48 years together. She was a seamstress at Oxford Fashions and Blue Mountain Industries for over 10 years here in Calhoun County, Alabama. She obtained her beautician license in Anniston, Alabama, in 1973 and continued to fix hair in her own shop for over 35 years in Cairo, West Virginia. She also lived and worked in Europe from 1977 until 1985. She was a member of her local Kingdom Hall and a faithful witness from 1990 until her passing.
Irene was dearly loved by family and friends here on earth and she shall live in the house of our Lord forever and ever.
There will be a private “scattering of her ashes” memorial after the holidays, friends and family will be notified.
