  Ira W. Tacker Profile PhotoIra Williams Tacker, 100, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on November 12, 2024. She was born on May 28, 1924 to the late Dave N. and Errett Beaty Williams in McNairy County, Tennessee.

Upon graduating in 1942 from Bethel Springs High School, Ira attended Draughon’s Business College and worked for Clover Farm Dairy (Sealtest) from 1944 until she retired in 1979. In 1945 she married Kermit B. Tacker. Ira was a faithful member of Highland Church of Christ.

Surviving family include a granddaughter, Lindsey Walker and her two great grandchildren George and Bess Siroky, all of Jackson, Tennessee; along with several nieces and nephews and a brother in law, Herman Tacker.

She is preceded in death by her husband,Kermit B. Tacker, a son, Ronnie K.Tacker; two sisters, Estelle Williams Sanders and Nina Williams Summar; and two brothers, John H. Williams and Beaty Williams.

The family will remember her with a private graveside memorial.
